Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Tend: Streaks & Dates (“Tend”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information.

Tend v1 is designed as a local-first app. Your tracker data is stored on your device. Tend does not use tracking, third-party advertising, analytics, or CloudKit/iCloud Sync in v1.

1. Controller / Responsible Party

Responsible for this app and this Privacy Policy:

Christopher Asche

2. Data stored by the app

Tend lets you create trackers for streaks, due routines, and meaningful dates. The data you enter may include tracker names, dates, completion history, reminder settings, and app preferences.

In Tend v1, this data is stored locally on your device using Apple system storage. We do not operate a server for syncing or storing your tracker data.

3. No account

Tend does not require you to create an account.

4. No tracking and no advertising

Tend does not track you across apps or websites. Tend does not use third-party advertising SDKs.

5. No analytics

Tend v1 does not use third-party analytics services.

6. iCloud / CloudKit

Tend v1 does not use iCloud Sync or CloudKit for your tracker data. iCloud Sync may be considered for a future version, but it is not active in v1.

7. Notifications

If you enable reminders, Tend may schedule local notifications on your device. These notifications are handled locally by iOS. Tend does not send reminder data to our servers.

You can manage notification permissions in iOS Settings.

8. App Lock and Face ID

If you enable App Lock, Tend may use Face ID or device authentication through Apple’s LocalAuthentication framework. Biometric data is handled by iOS and is not accessible to Tend.

9. In-app purchases

Tend Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. We do not receive your full payment details. Apple may process purchase-related information according to Apple’s own privacy practices.

10. JSON import and export

Tend may let you export or import your tracker data as a JSON file. Exported files are created only when you choose to export them. You are responsible for where you save or share exported files.

11. Support requests

If you contact us for support by email, we will process the information you provide, such as your email address, message content, and any screenshots or details you choose to include.

We use this information only to respond to your request and improve support.

12. Legal basis for processing

Where applicable under the GDPR, the legal bases may include:

13. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your tracker data with advertisers or analytics providers.

Purchase processing is handled by Apple. Email support may involve your email provider and our email provider.

14. Data retention

Tracker data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, or otherwise remove the app data through iOS.

Support emails may be retained for as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable business or legal purposes.

15. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data.

Because Tend v1 stores tracker data locally on your device, we generally cannot access, export, or delete that local tracker data for you. You can manage or delete it directly in the app or by removing the app from your device.

For privacy requests related to support emails or other information you sent to us, contact us at: Mail

16. Children

Tend is not intended to knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data through a support request, please contact us.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
